I am a lover of movement, inquiry, and deep rest. Creative vinyasa, mantra, and stillness through yin, restorative, and meditation practices are my jam. Yoga in its many forms has been a grounding and transformative force in my life for 20 years. Currently I live in Ohio, but am a proud Canadian with a deep connection to the Toronto community.
My training includes a 300-Hour Jivamukti Yoga training with Sharon Gannon and David Life, 40-Hour Yin Yoga with Tracey Soghrati, Prenatal Yoga with Nicky Poole, Reiki 1 with Ashleigh Meta Larratt, continued study with Sarah and Ty Powers, and trauma-informed work with the New Leaf Foundation. I facilitate in a number of teacher training programs with a specialization in Yin Yoga, Philosophy, and Mantra.
Fun facts: I have an MFA in Acting from Kent State University.
Off the mat you can find me playing cribbage and eating chocolate with
my hubby Narada Wise, romping in the park with our pup Otto, and
snuggling with our cat Smooshie (who often makes cameos in
my online classes).
